Joan S. Wolf, watercolorist and printmaker, studied at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts while still in high school, and later earned her BFA degree at Massachusetts College of Art. Since then she has studied watercolors with Barbara Buer and printmaking with Kathleen Piunti and Ruth Leaf. She has taught printmaking at the Art School and Ga

She has taught printmaking at the Art School and Galleries in Mechanicsburg and has lectured on printmaking at Penn State Harrisburg.

I have experimented in many mediums but I primarily work in watercolors, monotypes and etchings

My Inspiration
My watercolors, etchings and monotypes all reflect my essential interest in the relationship of forms and colors to one another, both as I see them in nature and in my own imagination. Though I aim primarily to please myself, it is gratifying when others find my work pleasing, evocative or both.
